Mrs. Amanda Loewen To All Instructors

Amanda teaches STEM classes at Cornerstone. A follower of Jesus, she has been married for 20 years to her husband Eric Loewen. They have 2 children, Olivia (18) and Beau (17), and live in Kimball, MN.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in science from St. Cloud State University. She was a substitute teacher in the Annandale, Maple Lake, and Buffalo school districts until their first child was born. Once she reached school age, they began homeschooling. Both of their children will graduate high school from their homeschool, The Loewen Academy of Destiny.

She has attended many MACHE homeschooling conferences to continue her education with regard to parenting and teaching, and she has also taught in various other venues. She has been a Sunday school teacher, AWANA director/leader, BSF children’s leader, and women’s bible study leader. She has also taught Taekwondo for two years in Annandale.
