Mrs. Lauren Whiteford To All Instructors

Lauren teaches 4th and 5th grade science at Cornerstone.

She is a stay-at-home mom to three energetic boys: Theodore (4), John (2), and William, who was born in April 2026. Lauren and her husband have been married for 11 years, but their story goes back even further—they've known each other for 18 years!

After stepping away from her career in education in 2024, Lauren has felt incredibly blessed by God to be home with her family. This year, she is excited to join the Cornerstone family as they begin their homeschooling journey. After much prayer and consideration, she is thankful to be part of a supportive homeschool community.

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, she spent her career in special education, beginning as a special education teacher with St. Paul Public Schools and later serving as a special education director for an intermediate school district. She earned all of her degrees from St. Cloud State University, including her teaching and administrative licenses, as well as a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Lauren and her family have attended Victory Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie for the past nine years. They currently live in Eden Prairie but are in the middle of remodeling a home in Greenfield and are excited to (hopefully!) be settled there by November.

Lauren is looking forward to getting to know the Cornerstone families and is excited to see what God has in store for this school year!
