Mrs. Myrinda Christensen To All Instructors

Myrinda will be teaching Jr. and Sr. High History at Cornerstone. She has been married to her husband, Hans, for 17 years. They have four children, ages 4-13, which they have homeschooled for 7 years. They plan to continue homeschooling through high school.

Myrinda has a passion for caring for people. A Registered Nurse by trade, she earned her 2-year degree through Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Cambridge Campus in 2010. She worked in Long-Term Care from 2008-2010 as a Certified Nursing Assistant and from 2010-2020 as an RN in direct care, medical record keeping, and nursing leadership.

In 2021 the Lord brought her and her family to Watkins and she has since focused on caring for her family and home. Myrinda chose Jesus to be her Lord and Savior in 2007 and was baptized in 2008. She and her family attend Kimball Christian Church where she serves in youth ministry programs, including AWANA and Vacation Bible School.

Myrinda is passionate about learning and believes it is a lifelong journey worth intentional pursuit. Her favorite subjects as an adult learner are Christian studies, history and government, and health and nutrition. She is looking forward to the opportunity and privilege of helping your children in their learning journey.
